Bikers rejoice! Days are getting longer and so are the shop's hours. That's right, it's time to stay open Sundays beginning next weekend 3/03/13 from 12pm to 5pm. See you next Sunday!

Now that some of you are finally aware I'm open Sundays it's time to throw you a curve and switch back to a 5 day winter only schedule. As of Dec 1, I'm rolling back my hours to preserve my sanity and spend more time with my work widow and orphaned children. I'll still be open Saturday the usual time from 11 to 5, and 10 to 6 Tuesday through Friday. My apologies in advance for the confusion. Sunday hours from 12 to 5 resume in March.

Backpedal continues to add refurbished bikes to our inventory... We are a one man shop with a part time employee who take care to refurbish our used bikes to like new condition one at a time. There's usually less than 10 bikes ready at once, if you don't see something that works for you, keep checking in. The lineup changes almost daily, it's worth your time to drop by and see what's new. Winter Hours Begin This Weekend!

Just a heads up. The shop will be closed Sundays while I catch up on some much needed family time and some sleep! It's been a busy season with lots of support from the community. We are supremely grateful! We look forward to ramping up our little operation in the coming months and provide more in the way of used parts, accessories and even apparel. We'll be making use of our extra day off to remodel our space to make room for all this new stuff. Feel free to pop in from time to time and check out our progress!

Backpedal Adds New Service

Normally our tune and overhaul comes with a bike wash included. That's great if you need your wheels trued, bearings adjusted, brakes and derailleurs adjusted, etc. A lot of bikes just need a good scrub and a once over to make sure everthing's as it should be though. If that's the case with your bike, we have no problem dishing up some bike service ala carte. Just ask for the pit stop and for $25 we'll wash your bike, give it a diagnostic, lube your chain and fill your tires. We call it the pit stop because, especially during this time of year, you'll get your bike taken care while you wait. Of course, if you need extras like, tires, brake pads, etc. we'll gladly do it on the spot too. For a complete list of our services and fees check out the services page.
